the button to turn the thermometer on.
• Open the protective cap.
•Hold the thermometer as it was a
pen.
• Press the button “on”
(mod. 0700A2) or “face” (mod.
01500A3) to activate the tracking lights
and keep it pressed (in mod. 01500A3 the
display will visualize the symbol
).
• Get the thermometer close to the
forehead, you will notice two points, out
of focus if the thermometer is too far;
on the contrary they will be definite if
it is too close. When Thermofocus is at
the correct distance (about 3 cm from the
forehead), the two lights will converge
in only one luminous point.
• Release the button
keeping the thermometer still until the
lights flash.
• Read the value visualized
on the display.
• If you wish, you
can immediately take other measurement.
• Put the protective
cap back on, rotating it lightly.
Do
not be afraid if the tracking lights are
unintentionally directed to the eyes: they
are totally harmless!
It is possible
to measure the temperature of any object
that has a temperature between 1 and 55°C
acting as it follows:
Mod. 01500A3 - use the button
“house”
(the value thus obtained corresponds to
the object's temperature).
Mod. 0700A2 - use the button “on”
and
subtract the value indicated on the tag;
(the value thus obtained corresponds approximately
to the object's temperature, but the precision
is lower if compared to the one of mod.
01500A3).
